Everything that is being said is false.” Lazio president Claudio Lotito did not mince words in denying any rumors about selling the club or his role as president. The occasion was the press presentation of Lazio’s project in Formello. “I am the manager of a heritage of shared feelings and passions that I have the duty to preserve, maintain, and pass on,” Lotito warned. “Passing it on means that if the club disappears, it no longer exists. This is what I want, and as long as I am president—and I will be, I say this clearly—the club is not for sale.
