Bormio (Sondrio), 11 February (LaPresse) – "At the moment, it feels like a dream. I hope I don't wake up. It's difficult to find the words to describe this. I really didn't expect it. You could say it was a perfect Olympics. I think that in a few days' time it will be even more special and I'll really understand what's happening.‘ These were the words of Switzerland's Franjo von Allmen after winning gold in the Super-G, the third gold medal of this edition of the Games. ’I was sure that my run wouldn't be enough for the podium, or even for the gold medal. I'm pretty sure you can ski faster here. Besides, maybe I was a bit lucky with my bib and the snow, which was getting a bit slower,‘ he added. On equalling the record for the most men's gold medals in alpine skiing in a single Olympics, ’it may be silly, but I don't really care what it says on paper. As far as I'm concerned, I'm really trying to enjoy the Olympics here, and maybe in a few years those numbers will be important to me. But for now, they're not.‘ There will be a big party at the von Allmen house: ’I really don't know, we'll see. I heard some stories after the downhill and after the combined (team event), but I haven't had time to think about it yet."
