Milan, 30 January (LaPresse) – What are your chances in the Olympic events you will be competing in? "I haven't decided which ones to do yet. Definitely the giant slalom and the super-G. It's impossible to know what my chances are. If I were last year's me, I would say, “If I get two runs right, I could win”. But I would still have to get them right, with the pressure and everything. The truth is that I will be an outsider in Milan-Cortina.‘ These are the words of skier Federica Brignone, flag bearer at the Milan-Cortina Olympic Games, in an interview with Corriere della Sera. The injury, she continues, ’has robbed me of a leg to do all the things I love. And it has robbed me of a lot of free time." She is approaching her return to competition ‘with joy but without expectations, in a very calm manner. Happiness prevails, but returning to skiing has still been a tough obstacle; nothing has been easy during this period,’ Brignone added.
