Udine, Jan 17 (LaPresse) – Inter keeps going. The league leaders recorded their second consecutive 1-0 win after the victory over Lecce, narrowly beating Udinese away in the match of the 21st round of Serie A. The Nerazzurri started strongly, creating several chances from the first minutes with Lautaro and Dimarco, before breaking the deadlock shortly before the half-hour mark with Lautaro himself, who collected Esposito’s flick in the box and elegantly finished with the outside of his right foot past Okoye.

The home side, whose only first-half highlight was a central attempt by Piotrowski blocked by Sommer, improved noticeably in the second half and – aided by the entry of a second striker, Gueye, to support the too-isolated Davis – pressured the visitors in the last quarter of an hour. Inter, however, did not give any openings and secured a valuable victory, temporarily extending their lead to +6 over Milan and +9 over Napoli.
