Rome, Jan 17 (LaPresse) – AS Roma announces the mutual termination of the contract with footballer Edoardo Bove. "Today a new chapter of his career begins. Dan and Ryan Friedkin wish Edoardo all the best, happy that he can continue to play and pursue his dream on the football field. Always one of us. Forever a Romanista. Good luck, Edoardo!" AS Roma writes in a statement.

Raised in the Trigoria youth sector, Edoardo made his first-team debut on May 9, 2021, in the Serie A match against Crotone. His rise has been steady, earning playing time and trust in the following season under José Mourinho. On February 19, 2022, he scored his first goal in the Roma shirt in Roma-Hellas Verona 2-2. On May 11, 2023, he decided the Europa League semi-final first leg against Bayer Leverkusen with a goal, contributing decisively to the team’s progression.

Wearing Roma’s shirt, he totaled 92 appearances and 4 goals. In the summer of 2024, he moved to Fiorentina, where he quickly established himself as one of the team’s best players. Now he embarks on a new adventure with Watford in the English Championship.
