This is the fourth defeat in five head-to-head matches for the world No. 13 and No. 14 against the No. 3 pair, who in 2025 won both the Australian Open final (after a three-hour battle) and the semi-final (the first ever played by an Italian pair in the history of the tournament) at the Nitto ATP Finals, which Heliovaara and Patten went on to win.
