It was a two-phase match in Florence: in the first half, Pulisic came close to scoring for the Rossoneri on several occasions, while in the second half, the hosts came out strong, putting their opponents under pressure until they found the winning goal. The Viola's goal came in a second half played without guidance from the Vanoli bench, as he was sent off for protesting just before half-time. With today's draw, Milan move up to 40 points, while Fiorentina reach 14.
