Basketball: Federal court imposes two more penalty points on Trapani

Rome, 9 January (LaPresse) – Trapani Shark has been deducted two more points for irregularities in its registration for the championship. "The FIP announces that the Federal Court, pursuant to Articles 59(b) and 61 of the Rules of Justice, has sanctioned Trapani Shark with a two-point penalty for the current sporting year and the club's president, Valerio Antonini, with a two-year ban for administrative irregularities in the registration for the 2025/26 championship. This brings the total number of penalty points imposed on Trapani since the beginning of the year to 10, dropping the team from sixth place with 12 points to thirteenth place, tied with Udine on 10 points.
