Milan, 30 Dec. (LaPresse) – Anthony Joshua is ‘stable and conscious’ but remains in hospital under observation for further tests and treatment. This is according to a statement from his management team, Matchroom Boxing and 258 BXG. The 36-year-old British boxer was injured yesterday in a car accident in Nigeria, on the motorway between Lagos and Ibadan, in which Kevin Ayodele, known as Latz, and Sina Ghami lost their lives. ‘It is with deep sadness that it has been confirmed that two dear friends and members of the team, Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodele, have tragically passed away,’ the statement continued. ‘Both were 36 years old and were long-time friends and collaborators of Joshua,’ added the entourage of the former world heavyweight champion.
