Milan, 18 December (LaPresse) – It's now official: Milan-Como will be played in Perth, Australia, on 8 February. This was confirmed by Serie A president Ezio Simonelli to Sportmediaset before the Italian Super Cup semi-final between the Rossoneri and Napoli in Riyadh. "The match will be played there as scheduled. We had a cordial meeting with Infantino, and we had some doubts, especially about the referees because foreign referees had been imposed on us. Collina gave me assurances about the Asian referees; he has some quality referees to recommend for the match. We will accept this condition, then we will finalise the rest,‘ Simonelli said. On the sell-out crowd in Riyadh for Napoli-Milan, Simonelli added: ’We are happy with the public success of this competition, we are satisfied with this internationalisation, which is bearing fruit. The public here is getting excited."
