Rome, 9 November (LaPresse) – Marco Bezzecchi wins the Portuguese Grand Prix. The Aprilia rider, in the lead since the first lap, crossed the finish line ahead of Alex Marquez's Ducati from the Gresini team, with Pedro Acosta on KTM in third place. Aldeguer, Binder, Quartararo, Ogura, Di Giannantonio, Zarco and Espargaro followed. Rookie Nicolò Bulega finished fifteenth on the official Ducati. Pecco Bagnaia crashed after losing the front end when braking for turn 10 of the Portimao circuit during the eleventh lap, ending up on the asphalt. Bezzecchi, with his second win of the season in the long race, is one step away from third place in the World Championship: he is +35 ahead of Bagnaia with 37 points still up for grabs.
