Champions League, Juric: "Marseille-Atalanta will be a tough match, everything is fine with Percassi"

Milan, Nov. 4 (LaPresse) – "We have to be optimistic because the team has delivered excellent performances up to Udine. Then sometimes in football there are many factors that prevent you from winning. Atalanta played very well, but against Udinese there was a drop in performance, which can happen after 10-12 matches played very well," said Atalanta coach Ivan Juric in an interview with Sky Sport on the eve of the Champions League match against Olympique Marseille.

On what he focused: "On everything they did very well, where we were unlucky, and we hope not to repeat the Udine performance where intensity was lacking. Just look at the matches against Milan, Lazio—we collected much less," he added.

Tomorrow they face Roberto De Zerbi’s Marseille. "It will be tough against Marseille; De Zerbi is great, and they have very high-quality players. Even if you are at your best. They have attacking talent, play well, and especially here at the Velodrome they are fiercer. Defensively, they are more aggressive too. To win the match, perfection is required," Juric continued.

Inevitably, questions arose about his future, as today the coach was seen in a long discussion with club president Percassi. "There’s no need for reassurance; people try to create things that don’t exist. I understand other opinions, often malicious. We are always in contact, we talk, and there is nothing special," Juric
