Milan, Nov. 2 (LaPresse) – A flawless Jannik Sinner won the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Paris, played on indoor hard courts, for the first time in his career. The Italian player, world No. 2, defeated Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, world No. 10, in the final in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6 (4). With this result, Sinner will return to the No. 1 spot in the world rankings tomorrow. Fellow Italian Lorenzo Musetti also benefits, remaining in contention for the ATP Finals thanks to Auger-Aliassime’s defeat.
