Milan, Oct. 21 (LaPresse) – The number of Napoli fans arrested and then released in Eindhoven, Netherlands, has risen to over 230 on the eve of the Champions League match between Antonio Conte’s team and PSV. The Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reports that four PSV fans were also stopped.

The police cannot confirm how many of them had tickets for the match, but all have been banned from attending the game. Dutch authorities also stated that “they will be prohibited from entering the city center for 24 hours.”

“Since a possible clash between supporters of both teams could not be ruled out, the group was closely monitored,” the police explained.

The Napoli fans were arrested for provocative behavior, then released after being questioned and fined.
