Rome, Sept. 20 (LaPresse) – Nadia Battocletti, silver medalist in the 10,000 meters, won the bronze medal in the 5,000 meters at the World Championships in Tokyo. Beatrice Chebet took first place with a time of 14:54.36, silver went to Kenyan Fath Kipyegon with 14:55.07, and Battocletti claimed the bronze with 14:55.42. This marks the seventh historic podium for Italy in this edition, surpassing the record for the most medals won by the Italian team at a single championship.
