Turin, Sept. 19 (LaPresse) – Rai Benjamin is the new world champion in the 400m hurdles at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo. The American ran 46.62, beating Brazil’s Alison Dos Santos, who took silver in 46.84, and Qatar’s Abderrahman Samba, who claimed bronze in 47.06.
