Rome, 18 September (LaPresse) – Italy rediscovers its determination, character and concentration and beats Ukraine 3-0 on the last day of the group stage of the Volleyball World Championships, thus gaining access to the round of 16. De Giorgi's Azzurri needed a win after their defeat two days ago against Belgium, and the team did not let anxiety get the better of them, showing aggression right from the start: 25-21, 25-22, 25-18. Italy will face Argentina in the round of 16 on Sunday, after Argentina surprisingly eliminated France.
