Turin, Sept. 17 (LaPresse) – Paris Saint-Germain crushed Ivan Juric’s Atalanta 4-0 in the opening match of the Champions League league phase. Marquinhos broke the deadlock in the 3rd minute with a close-range finish on a low cross from Fabian Ruiz. Before halftime, Kvaratskhelia doubled the lead with a thunderbolt from outside the box after a solo run. In the second half, in the 51st minute, Nuno Mendes surged down the left flank and beat Carnesecchi, and deep into stoppage time Gonçalo Ramos sealed the rout with a delicate chip following an error by Bellanova.
