Rome, Sept. 14 (LaPresse) – A tough home defeat for Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma against Torino. The first half ended goalless, with both teams unable to break through. Early in the second half, Gasperini made his first substitutions: Dybala and El Aynaoui out, Ferguson and Baldanzi in. The Giallorossi failed to change pace, and in the 59th minute Torino took the lead with a great goal from Simeone. In the closing minutes Roma had a good chance with a header from Pisilli, but the midfielder’s effort was too central. For Torino it’s their first win of the season, while for Roma it’s their first loss. Torino move up to four points in the standings, Roma stay on six.
