Turin, 6 September (LaPresse) – "The opponents we will face tomorrow are just waiting to put us in difficulty and play a game like that. We must start off not tense like today but at full throttle, thinking calmly about the situations, staying focused, and then we'll see. It's a final, it has to be played." So said Miriam Sylla to Rai Sport after the comeback victory in the tie-break against Brazil in the semi-finals of the Women's Volleyball World Championship. ‘We do a lot of things much better, today they didn't come off but we did what we could with what we had. I appreciate the fact that it was a bad day and we turned it into a good day. We also had some ghosts, because in 2022 they won the semi-final 3-1 and we haven't forgotten that. We've worked hard.’
