Turin, 6 September (LaPresse) – Marc Marquez won the sprint race of the Catalan Grand Prix in the MotoGP class. The world championship leader took advantage of his brother Alex's crash four laps from the end, who was heading for victory, triumphing ahead of Fabio Quartararo's Yamaha and Fabio Di Giannantonio's Ducati VR46. Pecco Bagnaia finished only 14th, climbing up from 21st position in qualifying but still far behind the leaders.
