Turin, 29 August (LaPresse) – Jasmine Paolini's adventure at the US Open, the fourth and final Grand Slam event of the season, currently underway in New York, ended in the third round. The Italian, ranked eighth and seeded seventh, was defeated by Czech Marketa Vondrousova, ranked 60th in the WTA, who won 7-6, 6-1 in one hour and 28 minutes.
