Madrid (Spain), Aug 27 (LaPresse) –
Chilean national team and Torino footballer Guillermo Maripán is facing new allegations after being previously accused of revenge porn by well-known Chilean influencer Carmen Castillo, also known as Carmen Tuitera. According to Chilean media, a Spanish woman has now come forward, claiming she was in a relationship with the player and has reported him for incidents that affected her physical, psychological, emotional, and financial well-being. She stated that after the relationship ended, intimate videos and photos were shared online without her consent via anonymous accounts.

Maripán has "categorically denied" the accusations, calling them "false." In a statement posted on Instagram, he said: "According to reports from various media outlets, I am the subject of a new legal action which, like the previous ones, is clearly part of an extortion and defamation scheme." He claimed the actions are intended to "illegitimately obtain financial gain at my expense."

He also accused Carmen Castillo of offering to drop her initial complaint only in exchange for a multimillion-peso settlement exceeding 300 million pesos. “This alone reveals the true motivation behind these actions: the pursuit of money, not the defense of any right,” he stated. Castillo, who has nearly a million followers, first accused Maripán in March of trying to share intimate videos without her consent. She has reiterated her accusations several times and expressed support for the Spanish woman on Instagram, writing: “All my support.”
