Rome, 20 August (LaPresse) – ‘AS Roma is delighted to announce the signing of Leon Bailey from Aston Villa. The deal is a loan with an option to buy.’ This was announced by Roma in a statement. "Born in 1997, Bailey is the first Jamaican player in the Giallorossi's history. Born in Kingston, he moved to Europe at the age of 13 and has played for Genk, Bayer Leverkusen and Aston Villa as a professional. An attacking winger, he has made 377 appearances in domestic and international competitions, scoring 76 goals. Bailey has chosen the number 31 shirt. ‘Welcome to Roma, Leon!’ concludes the statement.
