Rome, 20 August (LaPresse) – Gennaro Gattuso returned to Milanello this morning, the sports centre that has been a second home to him for many years. Continuing his tour of Serie A clubs' training camps ahead of the national team's September fixtures, which reached its halfway point today, the coach visited Milan, the team he represented for many years and where he established himself as a player, winning two Champions Leagues, two UEFA Super Cups, one Club World Cup, two Scudetti, two Italian Super Cups and one Coppa Italia. Then, from 2017 to 2019, he embarked on a new adventure with the Rossoneri as coach. Accompanied by the head of the national team delegation Gianluigi Buffon and assistants Luigi Riccio (his former assistant at Milan) and Leonardo Bonucci (who played for the Rossoneri in the 2017/2018 season), the coach was welcomed by sporting director Igli Tare and team manager Alberto Marangon. Gattuso then spoke with coach Massimiliano Allegri, his former teammate at Perugia and coach at Milan, watched the training session and greeted the players and members of the technical staff.
