Turin, 16 August (LaPresse) – "If someone had predicted pole position for me last night? I would have told them to get lost… Yesterday we had a few problems, then we worked late into the night in the pits and this morning everything was much better.‘ Marco Bezzecchi spoke to Sky Sport after securing pole position in the MotoGP class of the Austrian Grand Prix. ’I would also like to thank Valentino Rossi from the bottom of my heart, who gave me some really good advice here on the circuit yesterday," added the Aprilia rider. ‘He gave me tremendous support; advice from him is always special,’ he added. Regarding this afternoon's sprint race and tomorrow's Grand Prix, Bezzecchi commented: ‘I don't think I have the pace of the Ducati riders, such as Pecco, Alex Marquez and Marc, and Acosta is also fast,’ he explained. ‘However, I have improved and will try to get a good start and stay ahead of them.’
