Turin, 15 August (LaPresse) – Marc Marquez leads the way in Friday's free practice for the Austrian Grand Prix in the MotoGP class. The World Championship leader set the fastest time in qualifying with a lap of 1'28"117, ahead of Pedro Acosta's KTM, second by 228 thousandths. Third place went to his teammate Pecco Bagnaia, 268 thousandths behind the Spaniard, just ahead of Alex Marquez's Gresini Ducati in fourth. Franco Morbidelli finished seventh, more than half a second behind Marquez. Aprilia struggled, with both Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martin out of the top 15 and having to go through Q1.
