Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), 15 August (LaPresse/AP) – Davide Ancelotti secured a victory in his debut in the Copa Libertadores on the bench of Botafogo, the reigning champions of the competition. The Brazilian team beat Liga de Quito 1-0 in the first leg of the round of 16, with Carlo Ancelotti, coach of the Seleçao, watching from the stands. Artur scored the decisive goal just 14 seconds after the kick-off.
