Rome, Aug. 14 (LaPresse) – No US Open 2025 for Matteo Berrettini. This marks the fifth consecutive withdrawal for the Italian player, extending the difficult period that began after Wimbledon, his last tournament played. Berrettini has removed his name from the entry list of the American Grand Slam. He had announced that he would take some time to reflect on the next steps in his career, withdrawing from the defence of his titles in Gstaad and Kitzbühel, as well as from the two American Masters 1000 tournaments, Toronto and Cincinnati.
