Rome, August 14 (LaPresse) – PSG adds another international trophy to its collection by winning the UEFA Super Cup. Luis Enrique’s team defeated Tottenham 6-5 on penalties at the Bluenergy Stadium in Udine.
The decisive moments came from missed penalties by Van de Ven and Tel.
The 90 minutes ended 2-2: Tottenham had taken a two-goal lead with goals from Van de Ven in the 39th minute and Romero in the 48th.
Kang-In Lee pulled one back in the 85th minute, and Gonçalo Ramos equalized dramatically in the 94th.
