Turin, August 10. (LaPresse) – After finishing second in the supersprint, Lisa Vittozzi claimed a remarkable victory in the women’s mass start at Sandnes, wrapping up the 2025 BlinkFestivalen. The Carabinieri Sports Center athlete dominated the quarterfinals and semifinals, and despite three mistakes in the final shooting range, she built such a significant lead that her rivals couldn’t close the gap. This marks her first international win in a year and a half. Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmonnot finished 14 seconds behind in second place, with three mistakes, while Justine Braisaz/Bouchet secured third, 28.9 seconds behind, with five errors. “I’m really happy,” Lisa commented at the finish. “I was a bit nervous at the start, but in the end, I did well, although I was a bit rushed in the last shooting range and lost my rhythm.”
