Football, Gatti: "Conte wanted me at Napoli but I followed my heart, Juve is a family"

Turin, August 9 (LaPresse) – “I was very pleased by the interest of a top world-class coach like Conte and sporting director Manna. I thank them because they wanted me at Napoli. But I preferred to follow my heart. Juventus is a family and Turin is my home, I grew up here. Let’s say the choice was quite easy. I never questioned my future here.”
This is what Federico Gatti, Juventus defender, said in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport about his contract renewal until 2030.

“The future of Vlahovic? Dusan is mature enough to make his own decisions. Of course, I push for him to stay here because he is a friend and an important player, but I don’t get involved in those discussions,” said the defender from the Juventus training camp in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

For Gatti, this year’s Juve “will be more aggressive. A team that wants to dominate every duel to win games at all costs, even in a dirty way. Bremer said it well, we are more or less the same team but with one more season under our belt, so we are all more mature. We need to get back to winning.”
