San Antonio (Texas, USA), August 5 (LaPresse/AP) – The bond between San Antonio and De'Aaron Fox grows stronger. The American guard has signed a four-year contract extension starting from the 2026/27 season, tying him to the Spurs until 2030 with a total compensation of $228 million, a source familiar with the matter confirmed to the Associated Press. With this move, San Antonio secures a key player—Fox has averaged 21.5 points and 6.1 assists per game over his career—and pairs a star alongside franchise leader Victor Wembanyama in their pursuit of the NBA title. Fox finished last season averaging 19.7 points and 6.8 assists, but was forced to miss the final 18 regular-season games due to surgery on a finger tendon.
