Milan, August 4 (LaPresse) – Another setback for Antonio Conte’s Napoli in preseason: after yesterday’s loss to French side Brest, this morning the Azzurri could only manage a 1-1 draw against Serie C team Casertana. In a packed Patini Stadium in Castel di Sangro, full of fans eager to see their heroes, the Italian champions showed they are still in poor physical condition due to Conte’s intense training workload during this phase. The Napoli coach fielded a largely rotated lineup compared to yesterday, including Lukaku. However, it was Casertana who took the lead through Vano in the 35th minute. Napoli equalized just before halftime, in the 43rd minute, with a goal from Politano. Out of four friendlies, Napoli have so far earned just one win, two losses, and one draw. Conte’s side will be back in action on August 9th for their third friendly against Girona, again at the Patini Stadium.
