Milan, Aug 4 (LaPresse) – German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen has extended Patrik Schick’s contract until 2030. Schick’s original contract was set to expire in 2027. The extension follows the departure of several key players and coach Xabi Alonso during the offseason. Schick was Leverkusen’s top scorer last season with 27 goals in 45 matches. Former Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag now faces a major club rebuild. Leverkusen has signed American midfielder Malik Tillman, former Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah, and Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken to strengthen the squad.
