Milan, August 2 (LaPresse) – Despite ongoing issues surrounding Lookman, Atalanta secured a 2-1 victory in a friendly match away to RB Leipzig. The German side, seventh in the last Bundesliga season, took the lead in the 12th minute with a volley from Openda. However, after a series of substitutions in the final stages of the match, Atalanta managed to turn the game around. Scamacca scored the equalizer in the 85th minute, and Bernasconi netted the winning goal in the 90th.
