Rome, July 28 (LaPresse) – Italy's men's team sabre squad has won the gold medal at the Fencing World Championships currently taking place in Tbilisi. The Azzurri defeated Hungary with a score of 45–37, with the team composed of Luca Curatoli, Michele Gallo, Matteo Neri, and Pietro Torre. It is a gold medal that Italy had not claimed in this discipline for 10 years.
