Rome, July 24 (LaPresse) – During today’s meeting, the Federal Council of the FIGC reinstated the Lega Pro lineup, readmitting Aurora Pro Patria — replacing Lucchese 1905 following a court ruling and their resulting exclusion from the league — as well as Inter Under 23 (the fourth "B" team in Italian football history) and Ravenna FC, according to the alternating order established for readmissions.
In the women’s Serie B, following the exclusion of Sampdoria and Spezia Calcio Femminile and Covisof's evaluations, the lineup will be completed by Femminile Frosinone and Vicenza.
Later, FIGC Secretary Marco Brunelli announced that by the deadline, two applications had been submitted for admission to the regional Eccellenza league under Article 52, paragraph 10 of the Noif: from Lucchese Calcio and Ars et Labor Ferrara. A meeting of the commission to evaluate the applications is scheduled for tomorrow.
