Milan, 24 July. (LaPresse) – Flavio Cobolli defeated Japan's Yoshihito Nishioka 6-2, 7-6 in a first-round match at the Mubadala Citi DC Open, an ATP 500 tournament on hard courts in Washington. In the round of 16, the Roman tennis player, ranked 17th in the world, will face the United States' Francis Tiafoe, ranked 11th.
