Milan, 23 July (LaPresse) – ‘Spa is a classic and has always been my favourite circuit on the calendar; it's a very old-school circuit where you have to do everything right to get a good lap. I like the fast corners like Eau Rouge, the layout is different from other circuits and the changes in gradient make the track more challenging to drive.’ So said world champion Max Verstappen ahead of the Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix. ‘Silverstone wasn't our best performance, but it was a promising step towards getting pole position in qualifying. I went back to the factory last week to spend some time in the simulator with the team,’ he added, ‘and I can't wait to work closely with Laurent.’ ‘There's always huge support from the Orange Army in Belgium and it's like a second home race for me, so I'll be back in my Orange Lion helmet, cap and special boots,’ concluded Verstappen.
