Milan, 21 July (LaPresse) – ‘It's incredible to be on the podium for the eighth time in a row.’ These were the words of Gregorio Paltrinieri, interviewed by Sky upon his return to Italy after the World Championships in Singapore, where he only took part in the long-distance races. ‘It was difficult to compete, because of my broken finger after three minutes and the dirty water. I'm very happy. When I started, everything was up in the air and I didn't think I'd come home with any medals,’ added the Italian winner of three silver medals.
