Rome, 19 July (LaPresse) – Pecco Bagnaia took pole position at the Czech Republic Grand Prix. The Ducati factory rider finished ahead of his teammate Marc Marquez, who crashed while attempting to set a new track record. Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) also secured a front row start. Fabio Bezzecchi finished fourth, followed by Mir. This is Bagnaia's 25th pole position in his career: ‘It's great, I'm very happy. It's really nice to be able to give the team a pole position when we're struggling. I didn't manage to get much out of the race pace today. We'll see how it goes in the race,’ Bagnaia told Sky Sport.
