Milan, 15 July (LaPresse) – "I am always confident, extremely optimistic. We are Inter, so we must always look to the future with great optimism.‘ These were the words of Inter president Beppe Marotta as he left the offices of the Serie A League, talking about the start of the Nerazzurri's new season. When asked if there were any updates regarding Calhanoglu, he added, ’No, he is our player in every sense, so he will arrive as soon as possible, when he is called up." On the subject of Parma's talented Leone, however, he glossed over the matter: ‘He's a good talent, but he's Parma's, not ours.’ Marotta then confirmed that Valentin Carboni will “probably” go to Genoa to play ‘with a good coach like Vieira.’ Finally, on the many requests for Sebastiano Esposito, he concluded, ‘We'll see, it's early days.’
