Turin, 13 July (LaPresse) – ‘It's fantastic to be in this position. We were talking about it before the match, we never thought we'd be here. When you're young, it's the dream of dreams, I'm living my dream and it's wonderful.’ These were the words of Jannik Sinner after his triumph at Wimbledon. ‘It's special, my parents and my brother are here, my whole team, it's wonderful,’ he added, turning to Carlos Alcaraz, whom he defeated in four sets in the final. ‘It's been an incredible tournament, thank you for being the player you are,’ he continued. ‘It's so difficult to play against you, we have a great relationship on and off the court. We're trying to build a rivalry and to do that we need the best teams in the world. You have a great team, if you keep it up you'll hold this trophy in your hands many times.’
