Turin, 13 July (LaPresse) – Davide Ancelotti got off to a good start on the Botafogo bench. Despite not officially leading the team due to bureaucratic issues (he was listed as assistant coach, with Claudio Caçapa exceptionally acting as head coach), Carlo's son guided the Brazilian side to victory in the Rio de Janeiro derby against Vasco da Gama, who were beaten 2-0 thanks to goals from Cabral and Nathan Fernandes on matchday 13 of the “Brasilerao”. Davide Ancelotti's official adventure as Botafogo coach will begin on Wednesday in the match against Vitoria.
