Milan, 9 Jul (LaPresse) – "First of all congratulations to Flavio for a great tournament and a great battle. I had played against him once on cement but we have often trained together, I had seen him here but there is a big difference between training and playing. He surprised me with the courage with which he played, he's talented and I'm sure we'll see him on the circuit for a long time to come." This is how Novak Djokovic comments on his victory over Flavio Cobolli in the quarter-finals at Wimbledon. "In the end I slipped, on grass it happens, it never happened this year. But I'm OK," he added. For Djokovic it will be the 14th semi-final at Wimbledon, an all-time record ahead of Roger Federer. "Wimbledon was, is and will be the most special tournament in our sport. For me it is very important at 38 years old to play in the last days here at Wimbledon. It makes me feel young and to compete against young guys like Cobolli. And speaking of young, I will have Sinner in the semifinals now," concluded the Serbian champion.
