Turin, 8 July (LaPresse) – Ferrari announces ‘the multi-year contract renewal with Antonio Giovinazzi, who will continue to represent the Prancing Horse as an official driver in endurance competitions and as Reserve Driver for Scuderia Ferrari HP’. The Maranello team made the announcement in a statement. "The collaboration between the Italian professional and the Maranello-based manufacturer will therefore continue, with Giovinazzi playing a leading role in races and successes of particular significance. These include the unforgettable victory in the Centenary 24 Hours of Le Mans in June 2023, when Ferrari – returning to the top class of endurance racing after half a century – won the fourth round of the FIA WEC with the number 51 499P driven by Giovinazzi, Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado. Antonio Giovinazzi is currently competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship for the third consecutive season with the aforementioned crew, sharing one of the two 499Ps entered by the official Ferrari team, AF Corse, Ferrari continues. – To date, the Apulian driver has competed in 20 World Endurance Championship races (19 in the top class) with Ferrari, scoring three victories: at Le Mans in 2023 and at the 6 Hours of Imola and Spa in 2025. His record also includes three Hyperpoles (at COTA in 2024, in Qatar and in Italy in the current season) and seven podium finishes. The 1993-born driver made his Le Mans debut in 2018 when he competed in a Ferrari 488 GTE. Giovinazzi first joined Scuderia Ferrari in 2017 as third driver, a role he continues to fulfil as Reserve Driver for the team competing in the Formula 1 World Championship."
