Turin, July 7 (LaPresse) – Flavio Cobolli’s Wimbledon journey continues. The Italian player defeated Croatia’s Marin Cilic, ranked No. 83 in the world, in the round of 16 with a score of 6-4, 6-4, 6-7 (4), 7-6 (3) after three hours and 26 minutes of play. The Rome-born player, currently ranked No. 24 in the ATP rankings but virtually already inside the top 20, will play his first-ever Grand Slam quarterfinal. He will face the winner of the match between Novak Djokovic and Alex de Minaur.
