Turin, 30 June (LaPresse) – Vincenzo Montella will remain at the helm of Turkey until 2028. The current coach's contract, which was due to expire in September 2026, has been renewed until the end of Euro 2028. The announcement came during a ceremony held at the Orhan Saka Conference Hall, which was also attended by Turkish Football Federation president Ibrahim Ethem Haciosmanoglu. ‘I am very excited, happy and proud to have reached such an agreement,’ said Montella. ‘When I started this job on 21 September, I always thought it was a very special date. It was the birthday of my father, who passed away. I always thought I took on the job on a very significant day. I would like to start by expressing my gratitude.’
