Rome, June 29 (LaPresse) – The Italian men's national team suffered its second defeat in the 2025 VNL this evening. At the Now Arena in Chicago, Italy was defeated by Brazil in a hard-fought match that went to a tie-break, 2-3 (22-25, 25-21, 31-33, 25-17, 13-15). The game was played openly by both teams. Giannelli and his teammates will return to the Now Arena tomorrow, June 29, at 7:30 PM local time (2:30 AM Italian time on Monday, June 30) to close out Week 2 of the American leg, facing the United States.
